Continuous FPS Lag

I dunno what to do, I've tried with and without GameBooster, tried running as Admin, even defragging the game with GameBooster. It starts when I get into the server lobby, but then there is NO lag in the room lobby, lags in the shop/storage aswell. But when I get in-game I have like 1 FPS and can't even look around, let alone move. I've never had this problem before. I stopped playing CF for a while and just came back to find out that I lag when I have a better comp than before I quit...wtf? I'm running Windows Vista(SP 2) on a Gateway M-1617 Laptop(yeah I know ewww laptop, but better than my old desktop), I turn my AVG off while I play, I forget how to check my graphcs cards but I know it's an ATI Radion, an my Processer is AMD Turion 64(x2) with 2GB of RAM. vista is eating up your ram causing you to lag vista is so rubbish either that (which is most probably is) or its your CPU over heating and causing extreme CPU usage on crossfire.exe

My laptop doesnt overheat(if it does its an extreme rarity) because I have an external cooling fan(along with the internal ones).

Edit: Is there any solutions to the CPU usage problem?

Get windows 7. Vista takes 2 GB of RAM just to work decently.
