joy2key or any other key mapping program will work...
HOWEVER, the only reason you "think" u want to use a ps3 controller is because ether u have not played enough with the mouse and am going (ive always roxered at fps games on consolle, maybe i should use a console controller).... fact is, you have "always roxed" at console fps because nearly all console games use crosshair magnetisem/auto lock and any other number off ways to assist u at aiming to make up the the fact that FPS games should never be played with anything other then a mouse and keyboard.....
try it out. then run, jump, do a 180, shoot and 180 back the way you were facing before hitting the ground..... o wait, u can't. -

DONT USE CONSOLE CONTROLLER! than u cant 1 deag ppl -
To all naysayers-
You CAN use it. You obviously didn't try hard enough, don't flame me about other controllers, I'm only talking about PS3 controllers. Here is a thread on how to set it up for Windows Vista and 7: http://www.hardcoreware.net/how-to-playstation-3-controller-64-bit-windows-7-vista/. You will need to bypass the driver signature checking, it's all in the guide. However, I STRONGLY recommend not using console controllers for FPS games, there's a reason the mouse is there. The whole mechanism for more R2/L2 pull= more of whatever is included, so it's amazing for racing games. Hope this helped! -
my roomie uses a ps3 controler for consol games on his pc, but they were consol based or mix based games before he tryed it, and he used emulators, but the idea of using a controler for CF has crossed me and my roomies mind before....b hopping would be extremly difficult on a controller tho xD
