Problem With Screen Resolution

Hey um my screen resolution is 1366x768 there are options for 1280x800 and another screen resolution 1440x900 i think but when i click it then it says "your screen is not sufficent for widescreen" when my screen is actually 16:9 = widescreen plus it's hd so right now my resolution is on 1024x768 i think please help i would like to play on a bigger area
