it says 12:01 am for starting does that mean thats when everyones first game is or is that when we can start playing other players,

If so does that mean we can battle later like 2:00pm as long as we send them in by 11:00pm?

you can start anytime after 12:01. you get about 6 days to set a time with your opponent and complete the match for the 1st round.
