No More lag Guide

This guide will NOT help with your internet issues. And is mainly for nvidia cards.

I almost didn't want to do this thread because I didn't want people to not lag like me. But I guess I will for all of you people! (:

1st off. Go to your nvidia control panel. Which you can find under your control panel or right click on desktop (vista) and it will say Nvidia control panel. All your settings in this area should look like so:








Then! This part works for all computers. Go to your screen resolution and turn it to 800x600 and then it works a lot better! Also when you are changing resolution change your color to 16bit instead of 32 bit!

This should solve just about everything! For me before it says I have 30 fps and I still do... But I run as if it is at least 70! so it lies! I can run through smoke too! I hope this guide helps you! Post for any questions/comments!

3D settings. I tried with all maxed, and all lowest quality - no difference in FPS for me...

I'll try out 16-bit colour. But I'm pretty sure I won't use the resolution - 800x600 on a 1440x900 screen will not look nice.

Oh, This is mainly for people who have sub par computers playing a free FPS game... I personally have a 128 integrated video card with a bad 1600 single core processor with 2g ram. It runs much better. I just thought this might help the people with bad computers such as mine.

This has nothing to do with lag, maybe FPS issues.
If you want to game, get a good computer, period.

My bad, I consider lag like having bad FPS. As I keep a constant 75 ping.
