AK pros and jedis, I need instruction (got a camo from crates)

This morning I got an AK47 Camo-B from the free crates, I'm not familiar with it all but I like it. I usually play with a Scar L which I like because it's so accurate, light and has low recoil. I also like the Scar L in maps where snipers are usually high up or far away(Monaco), with the Scar it's fairly easily to get pinpoint accuracy. However with the AK my accuracy shooting is down a bit, I find I can do well with it on close maps like Egypt, Factory or even Ship. However I can't seem to get the long distance gunning down, also I need to better learn how to handle the kick on this gun. In comparison to the Scar I really like the power of the AK, I can usually kill with 2-3 shots to the chest. If I can just get the long distance shooting mastered along with handling the recoil this will definitely be my rifle of choice.


Any advice for an AK noob?

Just tap.
And go look in the guide section, there's a really good ak guide in there.

Tap is for noobs.

Any amount of instruction won't make you better. Just use it, get used to the recoil, you'll get better.

Keep in mind that the AK Camo's reload animation is noticably longer than the actual reload time. You can shoot before the gun is finished reloading, quite useful.

Spray at short range, spray/burst medium range, burst long range.

Single shot ---> Long Range
Burst Fire ---> Medium range
Close range ---> Spray

This is the basic lessons

I used AK-47 so much that I can now Spray with it efficacely and I dont feel it's "recoil" anymore

rofl, but we are dealing with a first time user who never touched the shiny wooden finish of a AK before

Spray at close and mid range burst at long, remember to drag ur crosshair down when spraying and if u learn to aim when spraying u will be the pro!

Im also an Ak lover (I use Ak 47 Camo). Long range is single shooting, medium could be both (single or burst) and in close range just spray (aim a little bit below belly )
