this is for those who dont know how to pin point breathing.
First you need a headset and a good sound card is advised ( i use on board and im doing rather well with that)
secondly you need to set your sound to surround sound, you do this by doing
start>control panel>sounds and audio devices>click the advanced button on speaker settings ( its on the first tab you get at the bottom right ) and pick surround sound speakers.
Now thirdly you have to go in game and go to play gm turn your volume up abit, make sure you have your headset plugged in and everything, now when you hear the breathing it should be in the left/right ear depending on where the ghost is.
Now you move your mouse around till the breathing centers( is in both ears )
and the ghost should be infront of you, sometimes they can be above or below you, i dont know how to work this out yet xd.

AgreedDoesn't a ghost breathe in and out, with some pause between the breathing?
Cos it seems finding a midpoint to face them will not be that smooth with this, yet people can pinpoint so quick?
As hard as it seemed to me when i started, ive found it can be done rather quickly now. all i need is to hear a quick breath and i have a very accurate idea of where the ghost is.and the ghost should be infront of you, sometimes they can be above or below you, i dont know how to work this out yet XD.

Rofl if you know the direction then its two three shots 'tops' to see where they are. i mean if u shoot straight and they arn't there they obviously are on the ledge above you xD
my best GM score is 54/3 as ghost no bdown and just a knife (shovel is to disgustingly ez xD) -
47/3 is a rather good score o.o ... i get around 2.5 KD as GR XD ... not that good yet with breath. oh btw... getting good earphones/headset does make quite a diff. specially the ones that have good bass quality. it makes pinponting much easier. and no ... the breathing pause is quite short, the only time a pinpointers do not immediately hear ur breath is when someone bhops.
hence, bhoppers (specially with breath down) can kill even the most experienced pinpointers. though... if a GR gets u across half the map, while u bhopped perfectly... u may start to question whether he/she is legit lol
