cf not working on windows 7

a few days ago i installed windows 7 on my comp and for some reason it dosent want to run cf, like, at all.

the sound is so broken that i had to turn it off, my frame rate is terrible when i have a badass graphic card, i get terrible ping spikes that sometimes go up to 500 (when im living in canada) and i crash practically every game.

i have no idea what to do. i tried to run cf in mode compatibility but it somehow just make things even worse..

I cant move right in game... i just installed win7 yesterday, downloaded cf for win7, and for some reason i cant move right if the controlls are on defaullt... if i switch them, then is ok, but when i put them on default again (i eaven tried to switch the controls in game and outside, and again, moving right works for any other key i tried, exept for "D")... again i cant move right...

does anybody know how to fix this?

Running CF I have always found it running worse with compatibility mode, but make sure you are always trying to run in admin access, and I'll see if i can get Greycloak to hop on and help when he's online.

Edit: or perhaps Rob would be better since he just installed it for 7 i believe.

i have windows 7 home premium 64 bits i play cf normally

well, i am running it on admin access... and yes, is running worse than on win XP...

the problem solved by himself a couple of times, after countless key configuring, and 4-5 gameplays... (in wich i couldn't do anything becose of new keymapping (wich is unplayable) or the known issue...)

Players in game sugested i contact a GM, but i dont know if this is a programing flaw (wich i dubbit), or something else...

I see u are a older member on the forum, and u know more ppl than me, so if u can find anyone who could help me with that, i will be very gratefull.
