also my friend have 14 - 20 ping (but on diff provider) but still 91 is rly high while england is rly close to my country

y, this fails.
I've waited 7months or something for the UK server, to get a ping op 20-30.
And I get a ping of 86 ?
If it dont change this month, I will stop CF and play Blackshot EU (Closed Beta).

i know you have "telenet provider in belgium to" with you get 88-94 ping >.< i've the same and the pingtest , speedtest dont lie i think

I got this too, I see people in my country having a 15 ping, while I get 89 with Telenet

Just gonna throw this one out there.

But there are 3 cases here of people with higher pings using this provider that maybe its their connections and routers and service that might be slower.

I would perhaps contact them with this data.

dear saidin , i think it between your server and our , maybe our ports, i dont know , but i rly have a 34 ping on counterstrike source UK server witch is hosted also in londen , also when i used to play on NA server in summer i had 120 ping and now 133 , so there is somthing happening between it i think ,

also if you were smart and read above you also saw i had no problems in anny other game on UK servers ,

total bandwidth capability of your isp is irrelevant as the game only uses a FRACTION of most bandwidth capabilitys... For instance i only get 512kbs down, i can connect at a friends house who gets 1.2mbs down and get same ping, why? cause the game only streams some where between 50-200 kbs of data a sec no matter how fast your connection is.

understand this, ping changes, it goes up and down, depending on MANY MANY things. diff times of day, and the more countrys u connect "thru" the more often you are connecting during one of their "high traffic times". u can have one ping for a month straight then have it go up 20ms for an entire other month... u litteral connect thru so many routing stations and any one of them could be operating under load, or have maintance going on or any other reason that could slow u down. Go play your eu game if it bothers u that much, i dont want to hear about it, personally i would have NEVER played a fps with over 100 ping to begin with.

thx for the awnser that what i was looking for but isent it strange that my friend with cheaper provider get 10-14 ping and me 90 ^^

i got this problem 2, fck telenet, 2 much ppl in the state 'Antwerpen' are using telenet,
ppl from 'Limburg' with the provider telenet got 15ping :<,
i know friends that lives in 'Antwerpen' but they have 'belgacom' as provider.
And they got 10 ping
gg this fails..

Using Belgacom in Antwerpen: 35-45 ping (110 ping on NA server)
Using Telenet in Vlaams-Brabant: 12-14 ping (140 ping on NA)

Can't test Telenet in Antwerpen though
