Cannot start the game!

Well i've been trying to install crossfire again but it seems I can't start it for some weird reason the error im getting ->



I have tried turning off all the programs that I have up etc but it just doesn't work, tried downloading/installing from a couple of other sites etc but it just wont start.

I do have antivirus on when im installing but its in the exception folder and shouldn't cause and problems but anyway its AVG 9.0 free edition im using!

been trying a few of the fixes the forum suggests but nothing works and I haven't seen anyone else make a thread about this problem so now im making one.

dude i have 2 computers, one with vista and one with xp, the one with vista works fine, the xp one has the same exact error message and iv been looking for hours on internet and no fixes come... so i say just play something else tell these guys finally notice it doesnt work... wait for update

well ive tried without any other program open but gamebooster didn't make it work anyway

I guess its to much to ask for a reply from an admin no wonder this game is full of bugs

Please do not bump threads.

Have you tried completely turning off AVG while installing?

This error code would seem to indicate there is a program running in conflict. So are you sure that you've shut everything else down?

yes i've tried turning of every program I have, without avg etc... there might be some background program that I dont know of?
i've tried with game booster for what ever thats worth but didn't make a difference

maybe its your firewall ? just a suggestion and game booster does squat apart from
messing your system up.

I tried ALL of the suggesion in the help thread maybe I didn't point that out! (that includes firewall off)
