The Field Shovel

Ok i think most of us know, if youve played with or against a field shovel that the shovel is extremely laggy. Like the person has to thwack their shovel 3 seconds before they even get to the opponent. And it really makes me mad. Also the shovel with that 3 second lag also has a one hit kill with it even in the leg. I want someone to fix it soon cause its really annoying. ( and no its not because the opponents ping is high, or he lags) its simply because of the field shovel having a laggy effect.

ehm... I've never used the shovel, But I thinks its cool the way it is...
also acording to myself... lol it reaches you from a longer distance...

I wonder this myself, but I can't stand the lag that shovels tend to be associated with.

Even though I have shovel and Axe, But I'm professional at Knife, no one can beat me....

Ya umm im not wondering to see if your good or not. Im saying that the shovel is a lag weapon and even with the long range it still lags because you would hit down on someone then they would walk away and you would die 3 seconds after. thank you.

Shovel and axe are not lagging,its like a game issue

I've never experienced the "shovel lag" yet so i wouldn't know.
Maybe your fps?

i must agree. i never actually see the shovel swung. they just hold it back and a second later the other guy is dead

what are you talking about lag...it's not lag it's so you can't swing a shovel or axe as fast as a knife...the shovel is one hit kill if you could swing it as fast as you can click with the right click then it would be too over powered..thats why it takes a few seconds to swing, because it's a one hit kill...you can run faster with axe and shovel which is dumb, if you could swing faster it would be too unfair considering there ZP items not GP..so there is no lag and nothing will be done, because thats how there set up, they do double the damage of a knife so they can't swing faster also

I rarely ever go below 60fps, so it's not an fps issue.

It's not that the field shovel has lag.

It has a longer damage window; there are more frames during the swing that will cause damage (kill) than the knife or axe. The axe's damage window is slightly longer than the knife's and the Shovel's is noticeably longer than both.

Definitely overpowered--But that's probably why the axe is a prize in crates and the shovel remains ZP only--It's an advantage you buy.

I completely agree. The timing on the shovel is WAY off.

FIX THE TIMING OR TAKE IT OUT OF THE GAME!!!!
It is very unfair to knife only users!!!!!

It's very possible. Whatever it is, it's the right click on the shovel that has the incorrect timing.

The shovel doesn't move, but it still kills people....
