Moving...

Recently I have been playing crossfire and when I moved with A S D W it would just move on it's own. For example.... I would press W and then after like 2 seconds it would start moving my mouse to the left or something and it would keep moving even if i'm not even touching my keyboard. I have tryed to un-install crossfire and install it again but that didn't work. How do i fix this...?

Take a look at the first time i became a mutant. I was shooting rapidly when he was starting to come up the ramp but after it started shooting rapidly at the wall and then he got me.

nope it's not my laptop I got this yesterday and i never downloaded or did anything to my laptop. I almost always have 12 status.

BTW I have been playing this game for about 3 months but i quit a long time ago. I have played for about a year or two if I added it all up.

Be sure ur keyboard and ur mouse have no connecion probleme .

My keyboard does not have a wire bec im on a laptop but my mouse is wireless. I don't think it would be my mouse bec i only have that problem in the game and not when im out of a game on on my desk top.

OK I have checked this over and I am starting to think I am lagging. I came to this because when I move with A S D or W and move my mouse it starts to lag after about 2 seconds and it moves to where ever my mouse moves to and where ever i walk. This has happened in a lag type of way because it makes my unable to do anything with out it lagging until i stop for about 1 second. But at the end of it I found out it goes to the stop it was going to but it still goes about 3X slower. So if a GM looks at this could you please still try to find out a problem with it. I posted in the '' High Ping Updated Data Collection - tracert'' so i hope it gets fixed.

if your status does not spike, it is not lag. (internet lag anyways)

its sounds to me like your computer is overladed... try pulling up task manager and checking available physical memory and what % of your cpu is being used....

if memory is low, or cpu ussage is maxed, it will cause delays in instructions sent to comp from mouse and keyboard and their actual reaction ingame.

again, if your ping stays constant... its not lag. even if it were lag, it does not manifest this way in game.

Alright for some reason crossfire takes up like 90-97% of my cpu usage. I just started getting this problem yesterday. Is there any way i could fix this? Earlyer today i tryed un-installing some things to see if that helped at all. Anyways, when i dont have crossfire open my cpu usage stays at 5-11% but when i open it its at 100%. Is there a way i could get that down?

Edit: I have just noticed that it is flashing between 0% and 2% and i only have internet exploror open.
