Really, it differs from mouse to mouse etc. Just try to find what you're comfortable with.

For sniping I use around 7 and for rifles and pistols I use about 10-15. For knives I use about 20 usually.

For rifles and pistol, you should start out at 15 and go down if you get use to it, for sniper is 12.

My sen is 0 for rifles and 12 for sniper

Rifles, pistols, knifes iv got my sens on 2. For snipers i use 4 but in scope i use 1.

Id rather have the scope slightly slower so my draws are a bit more precise.

Oh and i have my mouse on 1800dpi.

It's more of a preference thing. I use 3 for shooting and 35 for sniping. I'm not sure how people can use a lower sens for zooming in. It just feels wrong to me.
