Magnums are expensive and worth their price with high power, but standard pistols are not meant for you to rush with, is meant to defend yourself when you are out of ammo or when reloading, plus, standard pistols draw faster than Magnums, that's why i'll take a P228/M1911 over a Deagle on my new accounts

Yes it worth it if u can aim at the head
I have both the deagle and the glock the deagle is way more reliable but i love to have fun running around glocking people its the uzi of the pistols. Also if u aim at the head the glock is a 2 hit kill. if Your a sniper for sure get the deagle. -
well, i need a secondary, and i have enough for any of the 3 top pistols (deagle, anaconda, glock)
is the glock worth it? i know the power is a ton lower but with the 3 shot burst, how does it stand against the other 2?
Don't get the glock, it's horrible...it isn't as good as the deagle and anaconda... :C

Anaconda is ok, says its more accurate then deagle, but its cost is like 7000 gp more. Glock 18 though is kinda crapy in single shot mode. I think deagle is gona be ur best bet. Its a good fireing rate and at the least 4 bullets needed to kill for body shots. one shot HS, two shot chest shot. It also has the best ammo

Deagle - It's a good sniper secondary since it has good power and 7 bullets.
Anaconda - It's a good rifle/smg secondary since its accurate and if you spray without killing i think you'll in close combat so the damage is like 50 to the chest
Glock - its crap... -
I hate it lol and BTW everyone likes the P228 but the colt is wayyyyyyy better lol but no one has the colt! xD its like to every 17 ppl who have the P228 1 person has the colt xD
really? because then i just did a really dumb thing. i traded a colt for the p228. -
The Glock is most certainly not worth it. It costs 38000GP, is extremely weak, it has 3 round burst instead of Full Auto (which is unrealistic and underpowered) and requires Staff Sergeant. I would only get it if it was available at the start and cost a price similar to the P228.

BTW, a few people have mentioned "It depends on the player." Effectively my old saying of "The Soldier makes the Gun, the Gun doesn't make the Soldier."
However...This gun is /just that bad/. There's a reason you never see it in game. Even a skilled player can't honestly take that gun and be successful with it. A skilled player can make /kills/ with it, but they are not going to have a very solid KDR at the end of the game. This is one of those rare moments where the gun does actually make the soldier. Make the soldier bad, that is.
Again, don't buy this gun. You /will/ hate yourself for doing so. -
I own the Glock 18 and it is... ok. The power of the Glock 18 is very low. It takes multiple shots to kill a person. However, it does have a couple redeeming features. The mag is absolutely huge. I can't remember exactly how many bullets it can hold, but you can fire it for a long time before it will go out. Also, it has the 3-round burst mode. When taking head shots with the 3-rd burst, it can be quite effective, but you can only shot a 3-rd burst every 2-3 seconds.
