I hate it, because it doesn´t mirror the reality at all.
In Real Life, people have pickles, Glazes, Blemish etc.
But those, those are so overstated drawn, perfectly proportioned and more.
People love them, because they can get into some art of Dreamworlds with them. They aren´t ok with their looks, they wanna be that beautiful, too.
And that´s why 90% of the internet nerds love them. Because most intense internet users are ugly and hated. They wanna be beautiful, too. They go into the extreme.
But that´s wrong. They should accept that they aren´t perfect and nearly nobody is. -

You´re an exception. When I saw your photo, I was surprised you look good, instead of ugly.
Also, in my opinion Anime is not Art, Art should be "ugly", too. While Anime is...I could just describe that in my Motherlanguage. -

So I could be near few people and tease them more often.. >)

And what about art: Even when art is ugly, it's beautiful. And there are some manga stories where is uglyness (?) too. But manga/anime is meant to be beautiful things to those who wants to disappear in a fantasy world. Me myself. I want to disappear in fantasy books like Forgotten Realms and Dragonlance. I want live with Dragons and elves. Fight agains orcs and evil people! >)
And I wanna use 2 sabers/daggers and bow!
