m60 ADV or RPK?

depends on what your wanting to us it for. if its for MM then m60 adv. i use the normal m60 and i usually come in higher ranks in a game then any rpk user. people like it as much as they say they do bc its a new toy and like anyone with a new toy there going to think its better then an old one. m60 is just as accurate if you are smart and use small bursts.

anyway... (m60-adv)150/150 +150 if u have an extra clip is just too much, u wont have enough time to use all those bullets. Go for RPK. + extra clip...
and if u want to compare two MGs, say: RPK or M60 (both GP), not M60-Adv. it's sure that adv is a awsome wep... it is ZP. -

lol really? i usually live long enough to use them all. which results in me being 1st 2nd or 3rd in the ranking for that game. rpk is overrated simply bc its a new toy to play with. -

It depends on what game you play and how big a room is. When you're with 15 other people playing Mutation Mode, every bullet will count and the RPK being more accurate will mean squat. 80 bullets will run out almost twice as fast a 150 will. And would you like to see that happen when you're pushing back 3 or 4 mutants rushing at you? I think not. Save your RPK for TDM, and get the M60 Adv. for N.M.

But between RPK and M60? -
But between RPK and M60?RPK beats the M60 for several reasons:
- Faster reload.
- Lighter
- Less recoil
- More accurate
With only 20 bullets more per mag, the M60 can't beat it. However, the 70 bullets per mag more of the M60 Adv. turns the table. Suddenly the faster reload, the accuracy and recoil doesn't matter all that much anymore when you have that many bullets to waste.

but did u noticed the second it takes after he stops reloading it for the ammo to switch to 80.
im not quite sure about the "faster reload speed" of RPK on m60
but for the rest, i totally agree with u. -

well ive nvr used an m60 adv but i wud think its better because of all the bullets, if u are running backwards u can easily hold of 2 mutants with a deagle for a pretty long time if u dont miss any shots ive killed 2 by myself was only 3 ppl in the rm. i was the last 1 and i just use scarl and de.
i dont rlly like camping unless every1 fails and gets infected 100% of the time its boring u stand in 1 spot and shoot 1 spot over and over till u run outta bullets and mutants can heal if they stand still 200 hp at a time but ur bullets dont come back

played a game sum guy with m60 adv he killed 3 mutants in port at a site on top of the ramp -
M60 Advance is good, but seriously, RPK has better accuracy, MUCH better recoil, is lighter, and can reload about 3 times as fast as the M60. And in ZM, M60 Advance users will more likely be completely screwed when they run out of ammo. Let's put it this way- you're in one of your safe havens, and a zombie manages to get past the wall of gunfire. The RPK user reloads as he jumps off, and survives for another 15 seconds with a full ammo clip to keep the mutants at bay while he walks backwards, possibly being able to reload again once or twice if he's lucky. The M60 Advance user doesn't want to be screwed over by reloading for 10 seconds, so he just has to survive with the few dozen rounds left in his mag. He staggers off the edge, fires into the crowd of zombies, and while moving backwards at his amazing pace of 3 feet (.92 meters) per second, the bullets seem to go way off to the right, missing the zombie that's charging at him. And on the off chance they do hit, in a few seconds once his remaining mag runs out he is DONE FOR.
