wats with the west coast server?

West Coast is hard for Z8 to keep running compared to the other servers which is at Z8's head quarters.

Foxtrot server is just another server they decided to make that still gives us Aussies 260+ ping, what it seems like to me is that they are adding more servers from Canada, thinking that more people are going to be playing soon?..

why do you guys always close the west coast server every after maintenance. its unfair to us players in a lot of ways. like, we cant maximize in the use of our temporaRY guns and it lowers our KDR, etc. anyways, i really want to know when you will open west coast server! inform us please!

i hope its not another hardware problem. the last time it happened you fixed and opened the west coast server after the next patch.

ps what is KRD ozzie. :P

Last time, it was how many weeks of 260+ ping torture?

West Coast should be a priority for them. It is essentially the server for all non-US players, and like it or not, as the English version of CF, you are almost "required" to provide global support. Instead, opening another Canadian server is, when only one of the servers ever fills (Alpha).

Think about this for a moment.
The WCS is not at the HQ. Everything would have to be done remotely either via VNC or phoning someone up down there and instructing them to. They also have to upload the new patch as well to the new server and depending on the size of it could take awhile.

In case you haven't notice it goes down for awhile after every patch...
