As Eightball tried to explain how server load work, the site is a part of the whole process.

Because players have had to download new versions of the Cross Fire client our servers are being taxed to the maximum right now.

This will mean that downloads will be slow, patch processes will be delayed and the site is going to experience some hiccups.


As we work to better the service as well as the number of people who finally patched and are playing the game increase then the whole system will stabilize.

We do apologize for the current delays but rest assured we are working on the problem and everything will be back to normal soon enough!

You should host the site seperately to your fileservers, so that they cannot bottleneck each other. Hosting 101.

Thanks Roph. We're hosting the files and the sites separately.

But there's hundreds of thousands of people logging on to both. They go hand in hand because when something goes wrong with one they flood to the other (during patch time).
