need help FAST!

hello ive been playing crossfire for a while and yesterday and today even worse i am having the toughest time connecting to any of the servers. it lets me log in and then whether i click on alpha bravo or charlie or any of them they just arent connecting every time im getting server has timed out plz log in again im really wanting to play is this something i can fix

i will check my clan thread once it comes back up and i have already unistalled an reinstalled twice i took off some firewalls to see if that was it but it still times out more than connecting lol hmmmmm it does connect sometimes so i get to play but its not a deff that it wont take less than 30 minutes to connect any other ideas i do play on a laptop i have heard from friends that say everyone they know who played on laptop have had problems could this be my problem?
