The Cross Fire servers will be down for 3 - 4 hours on Thursday, February 11th 2010 at 00:00 AM EST as we perform server maintenance and update the game. After the Cross Fire servers come back online you will need to patch your client or may require download a new client off our site.
Please check http://timeanddate.com if you need to convert EST to your time zone.
If you have any issues with this patch, please check our Technical Support forum for the latest common solutions and we will do our best to address your problem.
Note: This update will bring the new Mutation Mode to the game with many other surprises.

As far as we're concerned, the same company.
The patch took a while because its big.
In spite of what you may think, CF NA is hardly the developers priority, since the customer base is insigificant.
They have no doubt a million players in the asian scene, so they obviously come first.
Sweet, it'll be nice to see which surprises we're getting aside from the announced guns and MM.

Its the same people, there is practically no pre-Z8/post-Suba. The only real effect for us was the site issues in between. -

im really happy! and tomorrow after school i will play with this fantastic new mode tnx z8 , i hope that the " many other surprises " will be great

omg, i hope they add the AN94, otherwise this patch is another useless, full of useless stuff, like mutation mode, which is like fun for 1-2 weeks and doesnt bring anything for competetive crossfire.
M60 adv? ok for mutation, but for normal play? no thanks, xm8 adv? yeah love it, but since it will be probably ZP or coupons, no one can use it on ESL, so i hope they add AN94 for GP -

No kidding, i visited China (my parent are chinese) and went to an internet bar. People are like living in these underground gaming bars. A lot of them played crossifre, so i jumped in. I got powned! -
