Contacting clan leaders

I should ask this in just a general thread...Might help me and other players alike.

What is the best way to get in contact with a leader of a clan in order to notify them of possible/obvious problems within their clan? Whatever the problem may be (disrespectful players to full-hacking players, and everything in between,) how do you get in contact with these people. Obviously, as we know, there are a great many who don't go to the forums, so that's not exactly an option.

Suggestions?

Well as we know, there is no direct clan MSG service.

If i need to contact a clan leader i either visit there forum if they have one or try and message them in game.

Or like so many other's seem to do, just start a thread titled "***XX Clan hacks, do scrim against them, full of noobs, ETC ETC... lol

XFire works wonders, that or I go on to their ventrilo server.

Had this problem too.. Whispering in game seems to be hard. Since it's based on luck if he/she is online at that time..
Most big clans have their forums. So do some smaller ones. Usually a link is on their clan site.
Xfire is also good at certain ppl.
But for now i'd say the best is to try your luck in game or use their forums

The real clan page really should allow you to enter some personal information, such as Xfire, or even supply a message-function.


Make a suggestion about it in the Suggestions-section, it should be easy enough to code it.

Having a function to contact the leader of a clan on the actual clan page is a good idea, but it wouldn't last 5 mins. Too many idiots would abuse it by sending hate mail and or false hackusations...

Still im in support of the idea Dot..

I actually submitted that idea to the GMs during my last report to them. I'd love to see something come out of it that way. We really do need a means to contact leaders, and as long as the messaging system simply stays on the clan-page and to the leader only...then it'd be easy enough to clear it or get to it as desired, so forth.

Add them on MSN or Xfire or use vent.

I wasn't actually talking about a contact-leader form, but a simple messaging system for the entire community.


Say I want to say something to RandomGuy, don't know his forum name, not in-game.
...
No point in explaining this.

A PM function, but for the community, not just the forum.

Get it done.
