Need Help mouse polling rate MX518 for CF

hello guys i need your help
i tested some mouses out.
i own Razer Krait - 125 hz
Razer Death Adder - 500 hz
Logitexch G9x - seems a bit unsteady for fps, high sens mouse 500 hz
and my beloved logitech MX518 - 125

i use the most time my mx518 because it feeld very good in my hand

i tried to change polling rate to 500 hz in windows 7
i followed some guides .. blabla in test mode i done it all right
but it seems that the pc dont detect the mouse after restart (when changed to 500)

so is it really worth to change it too 500 hz for a better aiming?

i use CPL mousefix for smoother aiming. can u please help me ?

125 MHz is 125 reports in a second = 8ms/per report
500MHz is =2ms/per report
So you will have a ping time like 6ms more or less depending on the polling.

Try some tests on "reflex time" and "reflex time with aiming"
The results would give you an idea.

ive nothing to aim

i tested razer da vs logitech mx518 125 vs 500 hz...... seems that the mx518 is exactly than da (in my hand)
i shot da wall in a straight line left to right slow and fast..
i cant find any different maybe im blind XD some ppl say the mouse makes a "jump" on 125 but i cant see it lol
but most ppl prefer 500 hz because they say its better etc
so its similar 125 or 500??
