Dz-Ghost - Ghost Mode Guide
Here i will show you what i know about ghost mode and how to get better.
Upgrades
First off is the hardware used to help out in your playing. There is headphones/headsets, to boost your breathing hearing abilities, upgrades and weapons such as breath down, and footsteps down. Also speed defuse/plant helps a great deal too. Spend a little to receive greatness.
Note: You don't need the best headphones... I use some $20 headphones and look at me now.
Not everyone is able to have extra upgrades to enhance your ghost mode pwnage. Such as, using axes or shovels, or have the game points (GP) to buy any of the upgrades. Well, i will show you how.
First off... Tactics
You must know your opponents.
Know what their tactics and weapons. What upgrades they have. You have to know your opponents to out win them. Think of ways to out maneuver them and beat them.
Ghost Campers
If your opponents likes to camp, this is what you do. First i will move to common sense. Don't just run out there. If you do, you're most likely dead. If you are wanting to move room to room, move slowly. Don't run to the room, you must spot out ghost in your path. If you have headphones, don't spend all day using them, move around in that room till you are able to move to the next.
Ghost Rushers
These are my favorite Why? Cause its easy kills.
Ghost can have the best rushers ever. But if you know what you are doing. They're nothing to you. To beat these rushers in their own game, is to camp. Find a place close to base and hold that area. Pick off ghost one by one. Note: Do not focus on just one ghost. Then you lose your cover and get hit from the sides or behind. If they get away don't chase after him. Most likely they will come back and try again. Remeber, hold the area you are camping and make sure you are able to hold it. Also, don't stand in one spot. Move around a bit helps you be a harder target.
Being the ghost
Ghost have their abilities as well as Global Risk. Ghost can "bunnyhop". A very important skill for ghosts to have. It's used to move around stealthy. For those of you who think its dumb and unfair, it really isn't if you compare Gr to Bl. My tactics for being ghost is to bunnyhop, camp, and rush. It all depends on my opponents. Once i figure it out, i choose how to attack. If Global Risk like to do alot of spraying, get out the way of the area of fire. Most important rule of being a ghost is not to do stupid things. Think before acting. Such as if you move here... will anyone see me? What advantages will i have before i moved? What can i do next? Will i be spotted? You must think ahead like playing the board game, checkers or chess. Plan ahead and you will succeed.
Being the Sprayer
I'm not much of a sprayer, but i can tell you what i can teach you. Sometimes when i am needing to spray is when i hear a ghost around and unable to pinpoint it. Or when you spraying ahead of you to get to another room of the map. A quick room spray to get them ghost. You can also spray a bit if you not sure if you saw something there or where you think the ghost will hide.
Weapons
For me, there is no actual weapon to use for the game of ghost mode. Use what ever gun you like and what you think will help you out. I like using the Kriss Super-V and M4A1 Custom. I use them both for different occasions. M4A1 for more of a scouting camping weapon and Kriss when ghost likes to rush. Its all up to you what you want to use and what you are use to.
Bunnyhopping
Bunny hopping is used for ghost to move from place to place without being seen. (Most of the time) I say it is a difficult skill to use although its very useful. this skilled i watched and taught myself to use this skill. I kept practicing and eventually almost mastered all ways to bunnyhop. Its a easy skill to use and to learn and everyone can do it. Although it will be annoying to Global Risk which leads to alot of QQing. Bunnyhop is used for many reasons. As for one i mentioned already, moving to place to place unseen. This can also be used for attacking, escaping hot spots, or any other reasons. To me, without this skill, i don't know how hard it will be to be a ghost and win.
Pinpointing
This skill is pretty much all common sense. To use this skill, you have to have headphones or a headset. It don't matter which and you can have the cheapest, and still play good. Having your headphones/set is the first step for pinpointing. Next is simple. All ghost have breath if you have the upgrade, breath down. You can hear it though your headphones. Al headphones do is to enhance your hearing abilities. To pinpoint a ghost after finding a scent of breath, is to center the sound. To do this, is to turn until you can equally hear the ghost breath from both your ears. This is all about listening. If you hear something from your right, its going to be on your right and visa-versa. With headphones, you can hear amazingly far and everything thats going on around you. This skill is like bunnyhop to ghost. Both are important in surviving and conquering.
Practice makes perfect
Ever heard the saying practice makes perfect? Practice does make perfection in this game. Practice your skills and eventually you will be a true pro player.
Remeber: Do not hack or glitch for unfair advantages. Its so nooby. Just like QQing
Also... Global Risk will win in the map laboratory
Hope this helped in some way. I got bored and i wanted to help some people out.
Below will be some scores i've made today playing ghost mode on Global Risk and Black List. Enjoy

God. who keeps telling people this. As I recall the GM's once said that it was the same. But then I saw someone testing it in a YouTube video, and it was clear the hit boxes were not the same. It has been proven. So please stop passing on this bs that they have same hitboxes when they dont. Ex. GM's never mentioned they nerfed m4a1's damage through hitboxes, but it did. Or the in-game stats of guns are false. But believe what you want. In every league spop's will be out. -

If they are or not... It's almost the same. -

True, hitboxes ARE the same. The image itself is smaller. No one aims around the SPOP, they aim at the SPOP giving you a slight advantage. -
some suggestions
now im not the best and dont claim to be-
for the global risk player-- which is all i play
WATCH WHERE YOU CAMP-ghosts show up as white, so looking into a room with a light floor, light walls, and a bright ceiling--near impossible to see a ghost-- best to keep your feild of veiw on darker areas where the ghost will show up better,,, the better ghost players know this as well, so they will use it against you
SMALLER GUNS HELP-the bigger the gun you use, the less feild of view you have- again good ghost know this and will come at you on the off side, and often crouched so that you have less chance of spotting them
FORGET SNIPING- you wont see them much at long range and the scope narrows feild of view
STOP MOVING- especially on noisy floors(metal, water, etc) you cant hear them over yourself
STOP RANDOM SPRAYING- once again, you need to be able to hear you opponent
DONT RUN BETWEEN THINGS- a ghost will often camp in a bottleneck, waiting for you to move close enough to hit without him having to move- stay in wider areas if possible
CHECK THOSE CORNERS- ghost like to hide, make sure theyre not behind you if you post up- if you cant move in a direction that looks clear--shoot the ghost blocking you-they may have their back to you and not know your there-if they are facing you- the knife to the forehead will be your warning-(i tend to shoot those unknown corners first)
SMOKING GRENADES- not only does a ghost show up well against the smoke, they leave a very detectible void while in it
NEVER FLASHBOMB- flashbombs help the ghost, not you-- you need to see- if you flash bomb, you cant see them-either because youre flashed yourself or because your looking away- a good ghost will run a few step even if blinded, and stop- becoming invisible and untraceable-
DID HE STOP?- if your tracking a ghost movement and it disapears, he has often stopped- shoot where you last saw him
LISTEN AND WATCH- a good ghost will come at you one step at a time to remain undetected, listen for the odd step, and the breathing- and a ring of water ripples may be the only warning of a ghosts aproach
CHECK YOUR BACK DOOR- if your running a fair distance, keep a watch on your backside, remember a ghost with a knife runs faster than you with an gun so he can catch you
DEFUSE THE BOMB-i have seen many a round lost when everyone was searching for a ghost near the bomb and the nearest one was halfway across the map
and last but not least
COVER YOUR TEAMMATE- if he is defusing the bomb, his life is worth more than yours, if that bomb explodes you lose, period- -
in fact, it is proven that the hitboxes are the same.
guy lines up spop and normal char --> he shoots BESIDE spop and both die...
of course there *might* be a slight psychological advantage but not really... if you know there is no difference then it will not harm you.
