CrossFire Servers/Channels/Login - Lagging?

I have no idea if this is happening to most people but I have asked many people, "Does it take almost forever to load into a server/channel, or even to login?", and they replied yes.

It is not my internet, because I access everything else fine. I even download Combat Arms, and even KOS to see if the lag issue is my internet - it is not.

I was wondering if there is any way to speed this up? As in "this", I mean my internet or the game itself, because this lag issue is not on my side - and I live in Canada beside the server.

Any help or tips would be nice, thanks.

First of all check that your anti-virus is not scanning.

Second press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and go to Processes and
under CPU see if the value of any of the running processes
is higher than 40+.

Note: Do not mess with any processes with the following User Name
SYSTEM
NETWORK SERVICE
LOCAL SERVICE

Now go and download Ccleaner and install it then check EVERYTHING
and click Run Cleaner.

Get the latest version of GameBooster if you don't already have it.
