Banning Turnaround Time?

I'm wondering what the avg turnaround time is for getting people banned. I know a lot of people are getting frustrated and are not reporting people because they feel like nothing ever happens. Yet if you look at the ban list: http://www.z8games.com/blocked_list.aspx
you will see the admins hard at work. There is probably a lot of submissions and not a lot of admins to go around. So my question is, what should the expectation be of people of turnaround time, from the day I submit a hacker, to the day they show up on the banned list? If people have a realistic expectation, say 1 month, there will be less frustration.

  • In all cases its probably true.

We get a lot of reports. We do our best with the staff we have to take care of them as quickly as possible.

I couldn't tell you the average turnaround time. Sometimes it seems like it's fast. Sometimes it seems otherwise.

We are centralizing the reporting process on the forums to one account. [CF]Reports. There will be an announcement about this later today.

Hopefully by having them go to this account we will have a better turnaround time on hack reporting because more of us will be able to handle the reports more efficiently.
  • I would also like to point out that people may have a hard time reporting these hackers if the replay crashes everytime they try to watch them.

Thanks for the response. What do you consider 'fast' and 'otherwise'. I'm just curious on what scale we are talking about. Is fast 1 day? 1 week? Is slow, or otherwise days, weeks, months? I'm just trying to calibrate expectations.
