Failed to download version .ini

hi can anyone look into this as i been playing 10:15 gmt till 12:40gmt no probs
i come to play at 19:15gmt and ive got this problem failed to download version.ini
is this the start of a new update or what
im curious on what ya do about it as this week your giving away 3 free crates per day
pls sort this out pronto as i would like some freebies

A lot of the bugs that come with crossfire are easy to fix just by redownloading it or making a new account on your computer and redownloading it on that account and running it as admin if you are a vista user.

LMFAO done this b4 uninstalled / Reformated / installed . made new account not that i need to ? then ^^ 2 days later theres an update

If vista right click run as admin if XP then make sure ur account is admin or it will not work

I had this problem for ever.

Turn off any programs interfering with Crossfire (mainly anti-virus programs like Norton, and Firewall). Or make Crossfire an exception, and allow it to access the internet.

I had that too.I re-launched the game 5-7 times and it's worked.

I have the same problem too this morning i reinstalled cross fire on another account and it still doesnt work plzz help me i want to play =[

How to fix it.
1.Turn off antivirus.
2.Maybe your firewall is blocking the game.(Mostly happens.Happend to me 2)
3.Re-install the game.
4.Re-launch the game.

Yeah, i hate it too, i don't get the point of the "Failed to download version.ini" I got all the guns for like 900k and like 300k zp, i was gonna make a youtube version on the guns and show the good things and bad things about the guns, so...it kinda sucks !! - Wanna know how i did it? I got a lot of ZP crates and apparantly got alot of 20-50k each per every 3 crates, Sooo...it was kinda fun. I hope they fix this stupid download failure. Z8 games....We want to play!
