Sniper tips for noobs
OK i know a lot of u are going to critize me for this but hey this is what i do and if u look at my profile it shows it works.
K sniping
This is by far my favorite way to kill on crossfire. It feels great starring down the scope of a high powered rifle. Seeing ur target jumping around and trying to avoid your bullet. Then BAAAM Headshot!
Sometimes its fun and epic, and other times its a major **** off and makes u want to throw ur mouse at the wall.
Here are some key tips that i use in order to get the job done.
First off when sniping i always have a pistol as my back up. So if the enemy gets too close i can take them out with my deagle.
Second always always always move. Don't be a noob and sit in one spot. U WILL DIE! trust me ill be the one to get u lol. Move all the time. The only time i stop moving is to shoot. Then after that one split second im gone again. I rarely ever stay still.
Third learn to lead. In crossfire everyone is running around. Nobody walks they all run. So the next tip is being able to hit ur target on the run. This is something that took me some time to get used to. Pretty much play a lot of monaco and try to hit the guys charging ur base. I normally only zoom in once for this, it lets me see my target and if he has some buddies following him. U could double zoom if u like but i find it toooo close for my comfort.
4th being i have my pistol, after every shot i take i will always shuffle to my pistol after i fire my rifle. This makes me faster and more likely to escape enemy crosshairs. So after i shoot my AWM i go to my pistol. And run away to hit from another angle.
5th try not to attack from the same spot over and over. Its only a matter of time before the enemy expects it and counters. Meaning ur dead everytime u go to that spot. Move and find new locations to fire from.
6th Aim for the head if u have a weapon besides the AWM. This way there dead and u don't have to worry about hitting them again.
7th I find that single scoping is good for checking out the area and go double zoom when u find a good target to take out. This is better then scanning the area with a double scope, takes up way too much time.
These are just some basic tips and hopefully they help.

I will try to add/criticize what you said by points.
2. Hmm this is relative, you should camp at strategic spots, but only kill 1-2 people then move on to a better spot.
Ex: Eagle eyes from GR. Go to the stairs in front of blue doors. Get a headshot and move to B stairs and kill people coming from mid if it's unprotected or go to B long if mid is covered. Or you could move to A house and kill people rushing B from mid. Or go above in A to kill people coming from long A if middle is protected.
3. You should only double zoom at long range like long A in port or Bw for example.
4. This is CS style, I usually switch to knife but deagle is fine. If can do it fast enough you can get some good quick scopes.
6. Aim for head with m700, stomach with dragunov (1shot kill). But if you are in S&D and it's almost the end of the round just aim for the torso with any of those, as they will probably be damaged and it will be a 1 shot kill.

Another tip, is that from very close range you can no scope people with your awm if there's no time to swap for your sidearm. You know you're aiming at the person when their name shows up! Also, its important to make the best of both single and double zoom. Although you'll probably use single more often, double zoom is still very useful at times and is very good for taking out campers and people who are strafing back and forth randomly spraying from afar.

I only double zoom when at extreme range. It's a matter of prefered style, but i like quick scope instead of flicking. Also, make sure you get to know your gun well, usually awm you can shift walk and hit someone while moving, and at med range you can run and hit with awm if you aim dead center mass because your stability is more because the weight slows you down. Also, learn the time it takes for the bolt on your gun to cycle in a new bullet, its much better to single click right when you can shoot agian than to keep left clicking until you fire again.

Noscopes suck, they're way too inaccurate. Even if their name shows up there is still a big chance you'll miss. -

dragunov isn't always 1 hit kill
it fails me sometimes
