[HOW TO] CrossFire not starting up. (Stuck on xTrap, HGW)

Since the update with xTrap, there has been some people getting stuck on the xTrap or HGW (both).

This is how to get it fixed:


• Restart your computer - Usually it will clear all files that are archived in your computer.

• Run CrossFire (G4BOX's EXE) as Administrator.





If it continues to not load, give it around 1-2 hours after you HAVE restarted your computer. I have provided this information with my clan and friends, and seems to work.

Ahh too bad i didnt see this thread earlier! This happened to me and i un-installed the game and then tried to re-install it again, But it takes 10 hours to install on this computer even tho my bandwith and everything is fine....Got any advice on how i could make the download faster?? And get the game back up and running for me?

Note*:

For the users that are currently still having the load problem. Try it now, there was a little installment on xTrap - and works 100% now.

If you are still having problems, I suggest you send in a support ticket - as it has nothing to do with CrossFire if others are getting on.


If you are still having troubles, post and I will try to find a solution.
