So my advise is to start from your PC -> router -> ISP ... and usually here is the end ...

PC software tips :

1. close any running program

2. use advanced system care 11 - scan and fix lots of windows errors - just in case something else is slowing your internet speed

3. game should be added to antivirus and firewall exceptions list - or faster you may temporary disable antivirus and firewall before start game

4. start game as administrator and compatibility mode windows 7

some possible infections on your PC may also decrease your internet speed - so is better to be sure your PC is clean and safe

PC hardware:

nothing much to say - if you are using an older PC with DDR2 ram - this can be also a reason for a delay connection error - as your PC is very slow loading the room - usually on a second attept to join same map/mode will succede

But in this case the only fix is to upgrade your hardware


Router:

1. connect your PC to router with ethernet cable
2. close WiFi from router (run some games with wifi closed - is possible you have many other devices connected to your wireless - resulting a slower internet speed for your PC )

ISP :

... well you only can run some internet speed test ( after you did all previous steps) ,

go to http://www.speedtest.net , select a server from germany run test , then select a server from Toronto / Canada - run a speed test

if your download speed is under 1.5 mbps then your internet is just too slow ... you was able to play only by luck

This game require at least DSL/Cable internet speed, but a higher distance from CF servers will also increase you ping ( basically your ''signal'' pass through many other gateways before reach game servers )... so your connection can be delayed more often

Regarding this last ISP point - the only thing you can do is you require a higher internet speed if is possible and avaible for you

What luck you got in Romania that the rest of the EU/NA aint got that you have ? Besides your pc is like rubbish compared to mine.
Just bear in mind i know what im talking about , i was Unix Admin for the old Won server's @ Counter strike many years ago. And these servers are as weak as you like, end off.

I been getting it also, was telling GM I think on Friday when everything crashed in lobby and he was checking if it's working now. You not the only one but you can manage get some games after a few tries.

And damn did servers move or what my ping went up.

Use your loaf lol, you can get rid of any static from any PC when using a vacuum/hoover.
