Bullying on CF - Proof

Hi, I'm K1ngKong. I made a thread a while back telling the GMs and community that the bullying situation on CrossFire is really bad.

I just feel I need to say this because, of course, he will pass on the news that I am recording what they say to me, which might then stop them from saying certain things for fear and suspicion of me recording them. But, I guess that's the whole goal, get them to stop.

Also, MOD weiwei, if you are reading this, sorry for never responding to your last post on that thread. I had left for a while after making that thread and never saw what you said. Yes, I do know that people wait on the opposite side just to go against me, but, really, that doesn't bother me. I've never had any problem with the competitive side of this game; it is when people harass and bully me that I don't want to deal with. And I would be glad to play with you, but I would rather have you with me undercover, as they will only act all innocent seeing that authority is present. It would be better to get a candid view of what REALLY goes on, is all I'm saying. Thanks for the help.

Back on topic:

I'm not going to say too much, but basically I got a lot of support from everyone and that was great. The only problem is that I didn't have proof. I'm going to be uploading for many days screenshots of people who are consistently harassing me or any other player.

NOTE** I did not respond to any of these people. I did not chat in the game at all. The following screenshots are all them just harassing me continuously, looking for some type of reaction, perhaps. Or worse.

Don't get me wrong, I know that trash talk is popular in any video game. But when it doesn't stop after 2 minutes or so, then it becomes a problem. The bullying I have been dealing with has been going on for a long while, (a year +), but I have never thought to tell anyone. I thought I could handle it on my own, since it's just a video game, but it actually is starting to affect me in real life. Words are words, whether they are in forms of pixels or not, and when it's hurtful the emotion is all the same. The thing is, some of them know that I used to block chat. They use that for their own advantage and try to make themselves seem bigger and badder to the community by insulting me and me not responding and just taking it. Little did they know, however, that I was recording the whole thing.

Here are a few of today's bullying screenshots. Some are repeats because I had just wanted to make sure I got them when I was taking the screenshots. Also, on some screenshots I took the scoreboard just to show you who was present in the match, if that is of any help. By the way, just for your own reference, when they say "king", that is referring to me (K1ng)Kong. The one where the guy in the pink name is saying "half hp, kong, half hp", he was on my team telling other people my hp a round before.

I'm not going to point out anyone, but you can see for yourself. One of the individuals even went as far as to go on another account and continue to harass me. The last couple of screenshots show a few players from a particular clan harassing other players (even if the players didn't understand the concept--it's the fact that they were being copied and teased as though they were idiots).

I'll be uploading more from time to time. Most of this I have now just been getting in my screenshots because I had always blocked chat. But when I did open chat, and when I have chat open now, I can see all the things people are saying. I just wonder how much has been said about me since chat has been blocked since 2016?

This one was said by an individual who I feel the most threatened by. He does things more subtly and I don't have good proof of all the things he has done to me in the past, because they are more in his actions than his "words", but the guy who says "G1ngGonG" (K1ngKonG) is him, and he has 10ish ping.

By the way, what he said translated to English is "I want you around, my love" (Notice how all of the harassment I've dealt with today is something sexual. It just goes to prove how pathetic these people really are. Making sexual comments online is a big sign of insecurities and lack of self confidence in real life...especially considering I'm a guy, and they know I'm a guy. Unless they are homosexual, which I doubt. I wouldn't be surprised if making sexual comments guy to guy gives them some sort of sense of masculinity, ironically. You might also want to take a look at all the sexual related names in #19 rofl. Anyway, moving on


The ACE on this one was the leader of a clan called Moods, which was one of the clans I spoke of in my last bullying post.. He is associated with the guy who called me G1ngGonG, and they both bully me in their own way. He changes his name a lot though, so it'll be hard to detect who he is, except that his rank is usually that red one.

This one's kind of funny, I'm not going to lie. But still. Continually annoying other players. And like I said, abdo might not have really understood the concept since he was a rookie, but the whole idea was still there.

This one shows someone mentioning my name and the ACE (who I told you about earlier), spamming "All ez". This isn't a first time thing, either. I am uploading my first proofs right now.

I will be uploading more evidence as the days go on. These may not seem so severe, but when it is widespread throughout an entire community, it can seem like everyone is against you. I didn't say or do anything to have things like this in return, other than a simple "gg" or "I'm doing better than I thought" once in a while. Like I said, I believe it gives them some kind of satisfaction by insulting a player who is above average in terms of his skill. It makes them feel less inferior in terms of skills by targetting and insulting me, in which I usually don't give a response.

I did not report these people because the screenshots always come out too large to upload. Any help on that by the way?

Hi, thank you for your help. I really am hoping for a permanent ban. If IP ban were possible, that would be the best thing yet. These people simply go on alts or get their friends to do their dirty work, so a temporary ban is only likely to prolong the harassment.

In terms of posting on the forums, I do think there is use to it. Sure, not everyone is going to care about what's going on with me when I'm playing CF. In fact, no one may care. But it's better to speak up than to be quiet in situations where people are trying to bully you. A bully works best when there's no one to witness his or her behavior. I'm merely posting this on the forums to have a timestamp of events that unfolded before x y and z happens (which hopefully it won't). In addition, I'm also hoping to pave a way for others to stop letting these psychopaths get away with crap just because they feel like no one else is going to care.

I'm going to report these people as well, but I also think that posting this on the forum has some positive outcomes that I don't want to miss out on. Like I said, getting them temporarily banned is nothing. In fact, one of the players who was in the screenshots actually got banned from another account for harassment and was using that account today. You see, people still do the same stuff on different accounts; rank doesn't change personality. So my goal isn't simply to get them banned but to get them in a community-wide spotlight, hopefully keep them from doing the same thing to anyone else.


I try not to mention any names in the screenshots as to not break any rules.

Please submit a ticket so the GM's can take care of this situation. Bullying is not tolerated ! I hope that players finally start realizing that!
