Getting Game Stutters with Great Computer Specs

I'm on a i7700k and a GTX1070 but my game still freezes and it makes the game unplayable. Any suggestions? Discuss.

Your specs have nothing to do with the constant freezes. These stutters exist in many versions, they first appeared with the 2.0 update and they became bigger with all these new weapons with shiny and glowy shader we get lately. The cause is the game engine itself and the failure of the developers to optimize the game. They certainly do not know/ can't fix it, so we have two options: get used to it or wait for them to build CF from 0 and add all the content again optimized, which is just out of this world and will never happen...

throwing in my confirmation, ryzen 7 1700 OCd, gtx 1080, 16gb ddr4 3600mHz, and the ssd, fps is abysmal too.

Can confirm. My comp specs are state of the art atm. This game is literally just not optimized to run on today's tech.

I bought mine 4 years ago , i5 8gb ram along with gtx 750 , ssd 250gb and another 1T, been playing cf since I bought it and never had 1 freeze , I also played alot of other games they all ran smoothly , but when I upgraded to win10, had a huge FPS drop , Later on , I figured out that it was the xbox app problems that comes along with win10 , so if you have win10 , try to delete it from the pc as I did , and ever since I had no problems.
