Kukri Beast Goodbye Brother effect makes it worse than the Kukri Noble Gold?

Does the Goodbye Brother effect on Kukri Beast make the right-click slower when you kill someone with it, or is it just the animation and doesn't affect the real speed? Would that make it worse than the Kukri Noble-Beast?
If it does make it worse, shouldn't we get an option to disable it, like the Shovel Born Beast?

I'd like to imagine it doesn't, and the Wiki states nothing of the sort, but I personally do not own one.

Someone who mains it would probably be able to tell you for sure.

I assure you, that wasn't my intent. Although yes, I could of probably went and looked a little bit more into it, myself. My sincerest apologies.

Considering what OP is asking, the Review that Virus linked here seems to be insufficient, since it does not show the Stab while an enemy is being killed.

I've appropriated the Kukri Noble vs Kukri Beast Gameplay from our good friend Pyrex (Hope you don't mind) to make two gifs showcasing that yes, to my surprise, the Kukri Beast indeed is slower than the Noble because of the Goodbye Brother Perk.

Basically, that's the time it takes to be able to attack again with each weapon after killing an enemy with a stab.
