Ping situation and hit register
If I’m say 10 ping (I’m lower) and my opponent is 50 ping-100 ping, and we both stab or slash head with axe at the same time, why is it that I die first? Shouldn’t I kill them instead since I have the lower ping? Does it mean they slashed before me but since they’re 50ping their animation is delayed? Someone explain... plo******x

Similar situation when you die behind a wall, right? I'm like, a meter past a wall, and then I die from my peek a second before, and my body lands like 2 meters away from the corner of the wall. Really frustrating, don't know whether if its ping vs ping or the servers are like, 32 tic or something.

Yeah L0l I’m like how am I dead when I’m behind a wall and it’s not even a wall shot and I’m a meter past the wall -
I'm not sure but I believe he hit you first, but what annoys me the most is when I play ghost mode, as ghosts are fast, bullets tend to not register, so if a ghost is running at me and I keep shooting him, most of my bullets don't register, and neither of us is lagging.. Its like trying to register on a speed hacker but more possible. I guess thats because of the servers' tic rate?

This. It's just how this game's "optimized" to compensate ping difference. What really happens is that when a runner in GM presses right click after coming in your range and then you press your left mouse button, the game interprets this already as his kill and you die doing zero damage even after firing multiple bullets at him. -

Wouldn't surprise me. Gotta make sure everyone and their mother with 1mb upload/download can still play this, as its probably half the community.
