Fps
Okay, so I used to play this game a lot and lately I have been just playing one or two matches a day because of a problem that started happening not too long ago, and that is my FPS. I haven't changed anything on my computer and my FPS are way lower than it used to be. While playing in 800x600 my FPS were stuck between 200-230 most of the time, now it even goes to like 90.
On pretty much almost all maps I used to have 200-230 FPS, now:
Rooftops - It reaches 200 rarely, some parts of the map are 170 FPS others go to 120 FPS.
Eagle Eye - It's literally unplayable now. My FPS go to 90-100 and acts like I have 40 FPS. It's really laggy.
Black Widow - 150 FPS.
New Greece - One of my fav maps is around 100 - 150 FPS.
New Parkour Map - Seems to be normal. I have 200 - 230 FPS even tho it's a big map.
etc, etc.
Is anyone else having the same issues with FPS? I've literally been moving away from CF because of this issue. And sometimes my FPS go even lower than what I said above. I just don't know if it's CF's issue or not.

Have you cleaned your PC out lately? It might not be overheating, but it's never bad to have dust-free fans!
Are your graphics drivers up to date? Is Windows up to date? The 90-100 acting like 40 sounds kind of like HDD stutter, I used to have it really bad on other games. Although it's unlikely since it only happens on one map, it doesn't hurt to do a disk check. -
I am getting the same thing. 200 fps in rooftops before, but now it dips alot.when i record before, my fps stayed at 200, now its 60-90. Each update Brings something different.
Ping for me is different, my 30 ping feels like 200+, while every other 200+ pinger has no problem, but thats another issue. -

Yes, I cleaned it not too long ago. Everything is up to date. Other games I play haven't changed but CF. -

Been dealing with such issues myself, can confirm. I clean my PC often and keep all my drivers updated. The most recent FPS issue with FPS dropping to low 30ies after a certain amount of playtime is really annoying, especially if playing ranked games for example. It's been about a month since I've reported it aswell, so I guess all we can hope for is a fix as soon as possible.

Out of interest, whats your PC specs?
Im running:
ryzen 7 1700 (OC'd to 3.7gHz)
gtx 1080 ("gaming OCd")
16gb 3600mHz ddr4 (gskill trident z -> samsung b-die for those of you actually interested)
everything on an SSD too
I barely get good FPS on most maps. pretty much sub 200 all maps, drops frequently. I've also experienced a pretty abysmal FPS for the specs i'm running, makes me feel like Crossfire is simply poorly optimized or something. Every other game is 200+ fps on high settings, even when streaming im above 144 FPS, but who knows, feels like its just crossfire to me. Nice to see i'm not the only one with poor FPS.
Side note: anyone get crossfire working on OBS? Can't record unless I record my screen which is just stupid.
Also Bandicam (latest version) gives me massive FPS drops, I lose FPS over time, like over the course of starting recording (200ish FPS) ill drop in 30 seconds to like, 45 FPS and stay there.... No idea why CF hates recording. -

I think there might be something wrong there... I've got a decent PC, but not as high-spec as yours, yet I can get 200 solid unless I'm playing on Dinner Theatre and such. -
I think I kinda know what caused the drops for me during the FFA event.
Everytime I joined my 6th or 7th match, my FPS dropped from a steady 200 to almost 1, haha.
I feel like the pc can't handle the fact it has to load everything over and over and over. (Even though mine is pretty powerfull)
For me, simply restarting the game helped. -

I turned off my shadowplay and kept the FPS counter to try it, but unfortunately it still does this for me -

My drivers don't auto update and I hardly ever update them due to issues, geforce experience I removed a long time ago due to fps issues. This fps issue started since the patch and many players are having the issue, many of my friends ingame as well but they don't use the forums.[video] -
even if you get "good" fps on this _ game its not actually going to be good. I literally get a smoother experience on elder scrolls with high graphics settings. in fact literally everything i play runs better than this game. tab says 200 fps but game runs like i have 20-40 frames and spikes constantly. as if this game wasnt already unplayable lol quit this shizz, they wasted enough of our time/money
