Error. Do you want to report?
Greeting,
after several months of inactivity, I decided to play CF again.
When entering the match, the loading screen stops at 12%.
After a few seconds, the "CROSS FIRE ERROR" window appears. Alt+TAB doesn't bring me back to the game nor does it show any other message.
I have set compatibility to several different options (Win7, Win8, XP SP1 and SP2, etc.) and nothing helped.
I stopped all background processes and applications that were not important and tested again - nothing.
I scanned my computer and cleaned it, updated the graphics card drivers, checked for updates to the operating system.
I uninstalled the game, deleted all the files from the computer and reinstalled it (downloaded the installer again). No change ..
Again I deleted everything, set compatibility for the installer and tried again but nothing again.
Before each installation, I would restart the computer.
I thought maybe the problem was that CF was not installed on the same partition as Windows, so I tried it but it was not a problem
I have tried to delete files with .dat extension.
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise (version 1709)
CPU: AMD Athlon x4 840 3.10GHz
GPU: GeForce GTX 750Ti
RAM: 8GB
Some suggestion?
EDIT: Internet speed shouldn't be a problem - http://www.speedtest.net/result/6970634932.
Best regards,
-TinkO.

I've posted this on the other thread, but as it's the same issue, I'll post it here. Hopefully this helps:
If I remember correctly, 12% is where the game attempts to change your resolution. Try changing your in-game resolution to something else and try to join a match again.
