For those who know the answer...

What is the lowest graphics card needed for this game to run at its optimum

And... Will a high end graphics card like the Nvidia 1080 make the game play any better?


Please only answer if you know your tech not just if you are guessing thanx

I am thinking of buying a new laptop to play on

Current laptop is Lenovo G700 and it SUX

I think this is a CPU based game.
my brothers pc is from 2011 (gtx 570 + i5 2500k) and it runs cf with 200 fps stable.

a gtx 1050 or even a 1030 should be enough, a higher gpu wont make a big difference. Better invest ur cash in a 144hz monitor and an i5 and skip the laptop.

Well, a setup like mine ( see signature ) is obviously overkill for Crossfire, i also use a 144Hz display.
But before i got this setup i used to play CF for years on some random old ass laptop,
And the only real difference between an old laptop and my new desktop is the stable 200fps
And ofcourse the ability to put the graphics on HIGH but that doesn't change a lot imo
Crossfire isn't a very hard game to run, lol

If you got patients to save money, build a nice PC rig that you build your self. either buy a OS or DL a version I'm not one for buying pre built systems far to much junk installed for my liking lol.
Shop around for Mother boards cpu ect ect
good luck.
