Failed first patch of the new year?

Where is the patch notes thread? Where are new events? Why isn't the patcher patching? Is this what this game has degraded into? A lame Discord chatting app?

Admittedly there is a delay in the maintenance, but nowhere does it say the game will be up at exactly 1:00 AM EST.

Certain players like Discord, if you don't like it, then don't pay any attention to it. I know your comment "lame Discord app" was intended to throw salt at Z8, but let's think about it objectively. Discord brings millions of people together who are able to then connect in real time and, believe it or not, hang out and have fun together... With respect to Crossfire, it's helped people get to know the GMs better, it's helped people get their questions answered faster, it's helped people make new friends, etc. I get it though, Discord isn't for everyone. I wish you'd give it a fair try.
