CrossFire Recreational League - 12/30

This Saturday, 12/30, starting at 4:00 PM EST - I will be hosting and shout-casting (twitch) a small tournament for those who want to compete. This tournament is NA focused - that being said, UK teams are allowed to register and compete, however, ALL matches will be played in NA servers. I do not know how many teams will be signing up, but I plan on starting the matches at 4:00 PM EST until through the evening when it terminates.

RULES

This tournament will follow standard CF Rules and Regulations:


Game Version: CrossFire (latest game version)
Match Mode: Search and Destroy
Weapons, Characters, Items, Maps

Possible maps to be played on: Ankara, Mexico, Port, Sub Base, Black Widow, Refinery

Weapons: Only the default OR CFS weapons of the following types are allowed ->

Primary: Ak47, M4a1, M700, AWM, Mp5, P90, M60

Secondary: Desert Eagle, Colt 1911, USP, Anaconda

Melee: Default Knife, AXE

Thrown: Frag Grenade, Flashbang, and Smoke (no colored smokes).

Items Permitted:
Bag 1 – 4
Grenade Expansion Kit
C4 Setup/Defuse Kit
Bulletproof Helmet/Vest (will not be provided)
EXP Plus items that are NOT dress items
All extra ammo items that are NOT other weapons
Clan Bag

Characters: GP Characters (including 2.0 GP Characters)

Items Not Permitted:
ZP Weapons
ZP/MP Characters
VIP Weapons/Characters (not even allowed in bags)
Parachute
FP Plus Items
Dress Items
Muzzle Flash Items

MATCH/LOBBY Settings:

NA-5-8
ROOM NAME: [CFR] Team1 v Team2
1st Person View Only
10 Rounds Search and Destroy
4 Spectator slots (for admins and streamers)
SwapSide ON
First to 10 rounds wins - there will be no ties

A knife round will be played to determine who gets to pick the starting side.

MAPS will be determined by me prior to tournament start. For each round of the tournament, there will be a different map.

This is a ONE LOSS ELIMINATION tournament.

How Timeouts Work:

2 timeouts can be called in total per team per match. Each timeout lasts 10 minutes. If there are any issues or complaints about delay of game, feel free to contact me or one of my admins during the tournament.

How the matches WORK:

Communication Server (Mumble):

Every team, after registering, will be granted a private room in the E8 Mumble Server I have set up. It is expected that the captain remain present on this mumble server during the duration of the tournament so that I can communicate with them easily. The server address is: mumble103.gotmumble.com 22233 - label it as E8 Mumble.
For each team, feel free to use this private mumble channel to communicate during play time.

Post on this forum thread here with the following team information (all teams - even pro teams - are allowed to compete):

Also Post here if you are not playing in the tournament, but would like to help be an admin for it. All help would be great. (Admins cannot play in the tournament)

FINAL NOTES ON TOURNAMENT:

Registration for teams closes on Friday 12/29 at 11:00 PM EST
If I am not online Friday night, I will have the brackets, maps, and # of rounds for the tournament listed by Saturday 12/30 @ 1:30 PM EST.

EDIT: We will be using MOSS as our anticheat. Here's how to install and use MOSS:

Visit https://nohope.eu/

To download, click on one of the blue buttons under "Links" on the right hand side of the web-page.

Once downloaded, run the program. Do this now to ensure that it runs smoothly while you play CF. Also do this before your matches start.

Once you run the executable file, a small, somewhat transparent window pops up. Click on File -> Parameters -> CrossFire

The capture frequency should be at 120.

To begin running the anticheat, of which will provide screenshots of in game, click on Capture -> Start. The window should turn transparent and it should say "Crossfire Capture is running...."

Now run CF and test the smoothness of it to make sure it is playable.

Click Capture -> Stop to end the capture process.

A log-file will be saved somewhere listed under : "Capture stopped : "

You will need to upload this logfile using mediafire or some other file-uploading website at the end of your matches. These files can not be tampered with.

Round 1 starts at 4:00 PM EST. Semi-finals will start after round one matches have completed and teams are ready to play, but no later than 4:50 PM EST. Finals will be a best of 3 match.

Mahusay versus DIAMOND.FTW at ~4:00 PM EST

JiuJitsu versus winner of [Round 1 Group 1] at ~4:45 PM EST to 5:00 PM EST

And of course: FINALS at ~5:30 to 6:00 PM EST

All matches will be streamed and shout-casted at twitch.tv/derden
