M4 Predator for HMX, why is no one using it? What's your favorite HMX weapons?
After finally getting a cool pistol, I am thinking about using the leftover ZP to get M4 Predator for HMX.
50/300 bullets, melee attack, and slight jump boost seem really decent for HMX, but I hardly see anyone one using it these days.
To those HMX pros, why don't you use M4 predator?
How does it compare to other SMGs?
I usually go with P90ws + Thompson Infernal.
Also, what are your favorite weapons for HMX? (Please don't say TMP)

Well, it probably doesn't stack up well damage wise, I'd imagine.
Double Jumps also are rather easy to do, so there might not be much use for it down the line in any kind of Mutant Mode.
I like using the Knight Ares for Mutant Mode, it dishes out decent damage, although without a team covering you, you are pretty much breakfast. -
Maybe cause it's butt-ugly?
Your combination of P90 and Thompson ID is good for HMX already. So if you're in mood to spend ZP for improving your HMX play, buy another Thompson ID.
Only problem is that SMGs shoot so fast. I either use pistols until my life is in danger, or I run out of bullets in the first 30 seconds. -
There was an event where you would get a 6 day VIP with your ZP purchase and I got the M4 Pred. The gun doesn't look the best, but I really liked its perks. The high jump definitely helps. It also has a bigger clip which is nice, but still not enough bullets for the whole round.
I just stick with Tesla/Barrett OB. -

L86 is amazing indeed. I could spray it at almost any range. With only 1 RPK infernal, I barely finish all the bullets in 1 round while shooting almost non-stop.
Sadly I can't really run with it. It is a bit heavy.
As for TMP. I need at least 600k zp to first get it

I actually like the buster in MM variants. You have to conserve ammo and you'll want an extra shotty mag at least but it shreds muties pretty quick. I use a DE gold as my secondary because it has lots of ammo and I use it mostly till the mutants are actually threatening me. Mutation mag would make it even better but I don't play enough MM or variants to buy that sort of stuff.
Otherwise Tesla or Minimi gold for all the ammo you could ever need.
edit: Just noticed the MM mag is GP. If I ever have to play lots of MM for an event or something I might buy it. -

M4A1 Predator has a weird recoil and I don’t like it. M4A1 Iron Beast with ammo boost from my other M4A1 VVIP’s are better for me.
Though, the times I do play HMX, I use M82A1 Barrett - Obsidian Beast. QSing those mutants is pretty fun, especially when you go on an 8+ Killstreak and everyone cries ^-^ -
