Failed to Connect To Host Error
Hello
i quit crossfire for 1 year and half and went back a few months ago and when i came back i found that i keep getting Failed to Connect To Host server Error everytime i enter a game , i tried everything , uninstalling and reinstalling Crossfire and sent a support ticket and they gave me a few steps to do like ipconfig renew... etc and nothing worked , and i found out that there are 2 ways of avoiding this error such as:
1) restarting the router for 2 hours to 24 or 48 hours to get rid of host error ( getting rid of it by luck , if you are lucky, you would fix it after 30 minutes , if not , you would keep restarting it for 2 days and maybe more and if the power went out or something happened made your router shut down you will need to do the same thing everytime and you will keep thinking about quitting crossfire, ofc you will its a damn 2 days and you still trying to fix this error , and this is actually a pain in da ***)
2) using a vpn will get rid of the error but i don't use it because its illegal which makes me think of 2 things ,
1- restarting the router and ofc you understand the suffering
2- playing with host error which will make me get the host error everytime i enter a room , like you can't be the host nor playing cw and if you joined a full room with your friends and you get the error someone will take your place , so there is no fun at all
but 1 or 2 weeks ago the error got fixed by itself i thought Crossfire Team fixed it and the pings were high a lil bit but atleast got fixed , and after 2 days the pings went back to normal and still no errors but after 1 day the error came back again....
i really dont know what to do, i had enough of this and at the same time and i don't wanna quit cf
so after what i said what should i do ? or can you do something about that ? cause its really ****ing me off
Thank you

where i came from nothing is friendly and ofc by restarting the router it changes the ip aswell , i think its something in crossfire itself cause as i said 1 or 2 weeks ago the host error got fixed for 3 or 4 days then came back again -

nah its not crossfire because if it was crossfire everyone would get it but its probably you live in Egypt and its the problem that they closed the VOIP or if you don't live in Egypt maybe try to reinstall and then put it in antivirus exeptions -
