Case Opening is a complete joke.
I have spent more than enough of my hard earned money on this game in hopes of course of getting good items. When this new bundle deal came out with the phoenix crates and I finally was able to open them, it honestly just made me want to both laugh and cry. I opened 60 Glorious Phoenix Crates, not 1 rare. 60 New glorious phoenix crates, not 1 rare. About 180 noble autumn boxes, not 1 rare. Not even the worst possible kind of rare you can get. I feel like I just threw hundreds of dollars at this game for completely nothing. Almost feels like a scam to me. Now I know people will say case opening is case opening, but I mean come on, I give them 300$ for a couple little knick knacks? You would expect after about 300 crates, that you would get at least one item that makes you feel a little bit better about what you spent your money on. But I just feel sick thinking that I gave these people 300$ for nearly nothing. It really would be nice if after a certain amount of crates, that you are guaranteed some sort of nice reward. But you aren't, and it is really just saddening to think how much money myself and others put into this for nothing of real value in return. It just makes me not want to play the game, as I waited a few days to finally receive those Phoenix crates and having such high hopes of getting something you can't really get anymore, but instead I just get junk. I just think it is completely unfair considering the prices of the crates in ratio to the chance of the rewards you get. Who knows what the real chance to get one is, but I really think there should be some sort of compensation or thank you for how much money you put in next to what you currently get now. What you get if you don't get a rare is nearly useless besides a few select items that you could get for much much cheaper than getting from crates. Anyways, if this decides to get looked at by anyone in power or people who have felt the same, it would be nice if we would be a little bit more appreciated for giving so much money to keep this game going instead of just feeling sick about the money we spent.
Thanks for reading, hopefully this can get some agreement.

I feel just the same as u, when black friday i did open 150 zm special crate, 50 flare crate, 118 aa12 buster crate and 48 octagon camo crate and i got
nothing nada , i think they really should change win rate, so in 100 crates u win a rare item, that would be 1% win rate and would be absolutely normal , i think. -
I just wish they'd bring up a rare item limit. for example, for every 300 crates without a win, you get a random rare item from the crate. Kind of like a guaranteed draw. It'd be so much more fair for the players. And tbh 300 crates isn't a low amount, it'd be hard for someone not to win from that much (speaking from personal experience, those who are unlucky, don't kill me).

That GP SMG crate that came out.... I spinned more than 300 in one day and didn't get it.
Once I spinned more than 500 EBR crates until I finally got it.
My third deagle camo took me 700 crates...
At this rate you might just kill me -
Sorry to be a buzzkill, but I think the winrate is too high ever since we got the new Black Market.
Pretty much everyone I know has the ability to win in 50 crates or less, even with ZP.
@OP If you don't like the BM system, just don't use it. You bought 300k ZP, right? That's enough for 3 VIPs, even 4 if you buy during discount times. Though they are pretty useless, they're guaranteed to be permanent. -

+1 i agree , it would be fair to do that -

i wish really this was not true but this explains it all.....
I liked bingo for one thing, it was guaranteed..hope gm be the same.
That from one perspective is understandable, but I don't see how opening 300 crates doesn't get me a single rare. It isn't even all the fact that you don't always win from crates. It is also that what else do we get for spending hundreds of dollars? If you don't win a rare item, then it was just a complete waste of money imo. There should be some sort of guaranteed reward after ex. amount of crates or a some sort of system where after spending ex. amount of gp, you get ex. amount of crates back or something like that. It appears that the chances of getting a rare for me at least aren't even .33%, as I opened 300 and didn't get one. If it is actually around that percentage, it should either be raised by some or again there should either be a guarantee after ex. amount of crates. -
Hoo that block of words is hard to read.
I feel you when it comes to opening crates. I've had my fair share of losses, and I agree with the "if not a rare, then it you got nothing" mentality :P but this is how z8 does things.
They love their money (as all businesses do) and I doubt they'd change the random win rates if it would mean they would lose even a few dollars. Its how it was and how it will always seem to be. -

I know its hard to realize you did not win anything after spending a bunch of $$ from your pocket, I believe that everybody who bought ZP at some point have felt this way (including myself).
But I agree that win rate is better these days, I remember that Holiday weapons were hard to earn back on the good old days.
What I can share in my experience is this: Buy smart, either by VIPs or some ZP crate that could have high win rate (supposedly) and of course aim to earn free items like: ZP crates, ZP tickets, EP crates, which will give you a fair chance to earn a permanent rare item just for playing/completing events (without paying any $$ from your pocket).
I've been saving Free ZP crate tickets for when the time comes and already won 5 permanent weapons from free ZP crates earned in the events, so I think its more than fair at this point.
Godspeed to all the forumer's! -
Its just all about luck , i haven't won in like 1 year even tho i keep doing events and buy crates sometimes
Well, what can i say? Bought 100+ crates and got only temporary items. And in 5(FIVE) crates won twice the same rare item. Randon chance to win in BM. Some of us are lucky, others arn't. -
Yes its frustrating. CF is a free to play game, but the publisher and devs make their money off of those who choose to buy ZP. The crates and VIP's is how they "dangle the carrot" in front of us to keep a steady stream of revenue to pay for support staff, devs, servers, and the contract for the awesome anticheat (lol).
In my mind, if the win rate was higher, even more people would choose to spend ZP on crates = more revenue for Z8. But somehow I must be incorrect in my thinking. -
I think if you clean up your idea and make it a bit easier on the eyes to read, you should definitely make a suggestion on the suggestion forum thread.
I understand your frustration -- it's totally valid. Believe it or not, I've also spent the equivalent of purchasing 300 crates and winning nothing in other games, while my friends buy 10 crates and they win the best prize.
But honestly, that's the risk you take when you decide to purchase from the black market.

It comes off as a bit harsh, but it is true. Of course you're allowed to feel mad that you didn't win anything but as it was said before, that is the risk you take. -
i agree with u, i think that i spend more then $5.000 dollars in my account, my account is pretty good, but it could be better, even yesterday i got 100k and used all in the black market plus the phoenix crates and i didn't get anything, there was times that i would get 200k or 300k and not win anything.

To all the people saying that the win rate has increased since the new BM, well I think you guys just haven't been around long enough lol. The OG black market when Suba ran things had decent chances and great coupon prizes (golden M4, Golden AK, M4-gold tiger, Awm gold). You'd rarely go more than a hundred crates in without getting something, but now you can go several hundred in and leave empty handed.
OT: I think it'd be nice if after say 100 crates you are guaranteed something. It's good for Z8 because then more people will be buying in bulk and its good for the players because then we actually get something. I think another option would be to keep changing the coupon perm items out frequently and with good guns (mp7 and m60 are a joke).
