Well to SV's credit even in their worst condition they still managed to take the CFS championships and this is one of the best years for non-chinese teams performance like we see with Black Dragons. SV or participating chinese teams from previous CFS tournaments just isn't very comfortable with competitors their not familiar with yet but it looks like SV can rest a little easy once more since one of their bigger threats, EVA Team will practically be out of the picture when the entire vietnamese team is looking to settle for a family especially when MAXIM is getting married soon and BEAN already has a daughter ...

STDX never had what it took to be champions if they let their victory against SV get into their head and lost sight of the whole competition or other teams. Hopefully, the second source chinese team will get stronger next year since HG is a massive disappointment so I have high faith that the AG clan will be able to participate in the next CFS tournament since ZQ (who played as ChongEr for TGF) has reunited with them and Tian Feng (who also played for TGF) also joined up which will be a worthy successor to 70KG. AG clan put up a fearsome fight against SV in CFPL S11 and I look forward to seeing what they have to offer in the future ...

Tencent should stop dedicating a spot to Latin America and Europe for CFPL since they sucked so bad at CFS and instead should just hold qualifiers between Europe, Latin America, North America and Russia for CFPL. Inviting Vietnam to CFPL is also a must for the sake of other chinese teams preparation ...

0-0 couldn't have said it better myself. What's your opinion on other regions performance. Do you think NA will be invited to CFPL now that STDX placed well?

My opinion of the other regions performance is that the philippines, vietnamese and seemingly brazilians are currently strong performers but with some more work NA could reach those heights. Indonesia, South Korea and Japan have peaked for a long time so they can't get any better. The rest are just middle of the pack. As for CFPL, I doubt NA will be invited since the region doesn't have a very strong following of audience but the least Smilegate should do is invite NA to CFGI (they did it last year for Carbon) if not for CFPL or CFSI but choose not to believe so when ruLegends which also got 4th place last year didn't even get invited to any events including CFIEM 2017!

Even throwing a bone for NA such as getting invited to other regions CFEL would do wonders for the frequent visitors of the NA competitive community ...
  • Teams around the world are getting a lot better. I can't wait for CFS 2018. Not sure if this is true but some team said they could hear the Chinese casters and the whistles while playing in the booth. Lets hope they'll fix this next year.

Just as the rest of the world gets better so too is China so don't fall into the trap too soon that foreign teams will be competitive against the chinese next year when top returning contenders such as ruLegends, KOWAI and especially Flipsid3 fell from their grace compared to last year. There is enough of a gap between foreign and chinese teams that a 2nd tier chinese teams such as TGF can claim the 2nd place spot like we saw in CFGI 2017 ...

CFGI 2018 and CFSI 2018 will be focal points as to whether or not foreign teams can compete in CFS 2018 ...
