Pistol Only modes

How is it that pistols don't drop to the ground after we get killed in S&D and TDM games?

Is there a chance you can change that?

I dont want to see my friend ahmed go 5./25 trying to pick up shiny weapons dragging down the entire team. Keep it this way.

One of my favorite things in pistol only FFA is using a shiny weapon and fragging all the kids scrambling to pick it up when I respawn. In SnD this wouldn't be the case as it would all be my teammates getting fragged trying to pick up shiny guns.
