There's likely no limit on max weapons of a single kind anymore. I have like 50 winchesters and 30 some thompsons in my storage as an example. I'd just stop bothering with it if I were you. 1 is good to have. 2 is plenty and 3 or more is just completely un-needed.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who is dis crazy and collects weapons that often. Would be interesting to see who else has collected the largest amount of several weapons.
Sad that they removed the amount of how much items someone owns for a specific gun from the player profile page...
