I want my game menus to be in windowed , and fullscreen when I actually go ingame to play, but....



1920x1080 is blacked out, I can't pick it as my resolution ingame. Anyone know why and how to fix it?

Well, you could force it by changing the resolution manually in the "System.dat" and "System.ini" File and setting it to read only after you are done, but that causes a bunch of problems in general, so I personally wouldn't recommend it.

Other than that, the way you want it to work used to be how it did actually work in the past, but that got changed so you can only either have the Game Menu AND the Game in Fullscreen, or you can only have both of them windowed. So you are out of luck there.

As for 1080p being blacked out, which Graphics Card do you have? I recall having had that same issue, and playing around with the Scaling Option in the Display Driver Settings just happened to fix it.

1920x1080 is always blacked out when you have the windowed option checked until you go full screen, because the game (Since a few months ago) decided you can't play at your native resolution if you're on windowed mode.

You also can't have a windowed menu and full screen in-game anymore.

Oh and don't use photobucket, you can't use their images on other websites since a few months ago.

Huh, I just checked and behold, it indeed is black for me as well. Looks like what I did was only a temporary fix.

I stand corrected then, nothing be done about that. Sticking to windowed mode and having it on 1680x1050 when your Display has a 1080p native resolution makes it fit perfectly, so that'd be an alright workaround, I guess.
