NA gets placed in the same group as the brazilians and chinese, well it was a nice ride while it lasted ...
Looking forward to the rematch between SV and BD. I'm also interested to see how EVA vs PM will turn out ...
It will probably be the AG clan who'll secure the 2nd chinese slot ... -

AG got knocked out, the teams still fighting for the spot are
5United
Q9 Longzhu
U9 Club
TGF
HG Longzhu
imo 5G is the best by a long shot
And I think STDx can make it at least to quarters, they can grab a wildcard spot pretty easily, here's my prediction
Group A:
SV 1st
BD 2nd
Group B:
Eva Team 1st
Pacific Macta 2nd
Group C:
China 1st
ruLegends 2nd
Wildcard:
STDx
Lighthouse Keeper(trust me, these guys are simply insane)
Flipside is slumping atm, they underperformed in CFPL and all of the international events this year so far, and Kowai... Well, let's just say they were lucky as hell last year. -

Huh ? That can't be, the second chinese national finals have yet to start. (Nov 17) You're probably talking about CFPL S10 or the first chinese national finals since TGF was disbanded ...
Tian Feng and ChongEr from TGF are now playing for AG and I think xiubi and HiHi or Jerry are playing for Powerful Gaming club ...
I used to think 5United Gaming was the favourite but after their performance in the CFPL S11 finals, they are clearly not mature enough for international tournaments ...
AG was a much stronger performer during the semi finals against SV than 5G in the finals in CFPL S11 ...
AG won overtime in tombstone with the first map in Port. AG won 10-4 against SV in Ankara. SV barely won the last 3 maps, Sub Base, Mexico and BW 2.0 all with a score of 10-8 ...
STDX could get the wildcard but iNsanes and KOWAI are probably strong performers as well for consideration ... (wouldn't discount KOWAI yet since they won twice against RuLegends last CFS)
And Flipsid3 is not any good without phaze ... (I don't think seven is a good replacement for phaze as their sniper. Seven is a decent sniper but he's underwhelming compared to what top international teams have.) -

Pretty crazy, but the chinese CF governing body forced TGF to reform just for the CFS national finals, check it out: http://cf.17173.com/content/11152017/150607480.shtml
They were planning to give TGF's spot to whichever team retained 2 or more of their former players, but since both AG and Powerful Gaming had two of them, Tencent decided to just reform the team and let them play for a last time.
While I agree that AG is looking strong as hell atm, they unfortunately got knocked out a long time ago, this is a yearly tournament called NEST, it starts in early june and drags along for a few months. Whoever wins it will play against HG for the last CFS spot. -

Well that sucks, I was looking forward to AG been given another chance since they were finally getting started ...
ChongEr played in last year's CFS with AG and he finally found his footing plus Tian Feng would've been a worthy successor to 70KG. The rest of the players from TGF joined PG but aside from xiubi, Jerry and HiHi are relatively mediocre ...
The hosts of the national finals should've just decided to held a match between the two teams instead of forcing the players to regroup since AG's current strength is stronger than TGF was ... -
The second chinese national finals have came to a conclusion ...

It will be the HG clan (CFS 2015 champions) who will face off Flipsid3 tactics in group B of the first match. An unexpected turn of events since I did not expect the HG clan to defend the second slot when it could've easily been upset by TGF or 5United Gaming (formerly white sharks) ...
Before the 2nd CFS chinese NF started, the 2017 CF NEST champions for CFS promotion were 5United Gaming with a victory against TGF ... (I imagine that the HG clan will just as strong as TGF were in CFGI 2017 in their current condition which handily puts them as the 4th strongest team in this tournament)
