November 2017 Patch Review
Yeah I know they usually have a middle month patch but no one cares for those.
NOVEMBER 2017 PATCH REVIEW
Honestly this patch isn't even that bad and definitely beats most of this years updates just by doing the small great things.
Let's start with the NEW MAP: Refinery
Now if you don't know this is a remodel/reskin of the map Cache from CSGO and I actually love this map in CSGO with it being the right balance for CT and T side. But with Refinery I feel like the map being remodelled really fits the Crossfire playstyle while keeping the map from being a cluster of mess like the last map that was introduced for S&D.
The changes made for this map are done perfectly from the vents being taken out to be more easy to walk through ( probably done since they would need to create destroyable vent entrance ) and the A and B ways for T side being changed up to be shorter ( well in my eyes ) but not short enough to make it so easy for CT side to just run there. I honestly love this map and it's probably my favourite S&D map now which means it beats Sub Base for me! I couldn't care if this was a map taken from CSGO since it's been remodelled to give it it's own feel and I can only respect that since it's giving me a different good feel of the map.
5/5 Map.
The WEAPON: Calico M960 ( no one cares about the nobel beasts they are just VIP's without the VIP stuff. )
I love this gun. It isn't overpowered but if you get your shots on then you are getting your kill with no issue. I can't respect this enough that it's a GP weapon it just work well there and I am happy to have this in my Storage and I will be using it from time to time just like my R93. I don't even ask for more GP weapons but if I have to wait like 3 or 4 months for a new GP weapon that is as good as this then I am willing to.
IT'S A MUST SPIN.

But you know what?
With this Patch being very small in my opinion it did what it needed to do just right and I have full respect for this update and the events are even good like this is a perfect patch and I hope this keep happening but I doubt it so I am just happy to know that this patch wasn't a waste of time.
I rate this patch 4/5. It didn't get me as hyped as the Wave Mode update but it definitely made me want to play more Crossfire and I hate this game!
And that's it.

Imo this patch was awful.
Opinion about new map - Map is a clustered mess of awfulness. It's compact as all hell and it looks entirely one sided. Also it's a remake of cache from csgo without any of the decent features. The vent's, the walkways which should've been ladders and even the horrid door. The map is terribad.
1/5 Only redeeming factor is that its a clone of cs
The weapon: Garbage weapon basically a tmp remake with more hit stun and less damage. It can be shot at from long range and literally stops the opponent from moving and makes their aim all wobbly.
Didn't make me want to play the game, all patches generally get me sorta happy (during the wait process) but after it's usually a let down.
Overall patch 0/5 (No mp mall update, kept the awful 1shot shotty and a new tmp remake with sudo vips)

Yeah I don't see what's SO great about this patch, patch is meh but the events are not bad. I like both of them.
Also we got a new map, mixed feelings about it but it's still fun and we got a new S&D map finally so no complains there.
The new noble crate is the worst crate Z8 has ever released. I'm sorry if I offended anyone but the knuckle NB is the ugliest thing
For me it's usually the events that make up how good a patch is. It's the least they could do if the MP mall is not gonna change.

It's not that OP like the tmp which has more damage, faster reload, faster fire rate and better accuracy
But it's still a good gun in the hands of a experienced player.
That's the thing I'm very good with this gun so with all those bonuses with the gun and my skill combined I feel like I'm ruining the game for others like the TMP players. -

I know what you are on about at B side. I wish they did add an moveable door which uses the Action Button ( "E ) to open and close it would be a great introduction and could be used for future maps but they decided to go with the easy and make a half open door ( which I can't remember where the model is from but it's a reuse ) which is way too big and just makes T side running towards the door even harder cause you are so open you can't just jump into B side they will legit see you. I didn't even notice the B side Vents so I may need to play more of this map lol. Yeah I don't see why they didn't just use a ladder rather than stairs for the heaven B site, it's not like they couldn't do it... and it looks ugly like it was a rush idea.
I actually didn't notice why I was having such a easy time with the gun and just mowing down people like it was nothing until I went onto the forums and people told me it does the stun thing. I honestly hate it, it should only be used for HMX/HM/MM it has no reason ruining S&D. I've already dealt with TMP players and I think they have destroyed the M12s players in their prime and I know the M12s were easy to get via temp from crates or buying a perm but I could deal with them back then but the TMP... I hope it doesn't get overshadowed by EE like the others. EE needs to die, it's not a good map at all and I would always pick BW over it but some reason everyone want's to play EE. This map should do well though since people love to feel like they are playing CS without owning CS.
