Answer: By one of those rectangle looking ads on some website which if I can remember was megaupload.com lmao. Then surprisingly someone I knew played CF and when we 1v1ed he made me feel like a rookie with his Scar Light.

Answer: Well I was playing a F2P Arena based shooter but was looking for something a bit different and some people on another game yet were talking about crossfire. So I checked it out....created my account and played a few games then didn't play for a few months....gave it another whirl and have been playing it a fair amount since with a few breaks here and there especially within the first few years I played. (those breaks were largely due to MASSIVE hack waves that were even worse than what we have now. as the USUAL back then was as bad as we have now for the most part.)

Answer: I used to play CS and this one day my brother came home saying there was a better game called CrossFire, I got mad because he said I would need money to buy weapons, but he meant ingame money (GP). Years later here I am spending real money for weapons. x]

Answer: I used to play Tribal wars Italy, after winning the contest "Miss Tribal" and being in top 3 in one world.. I decided to stop and followed 2 friends who already played here on cf..and since the beginning I loved this game.

2. Actually a friend told me about it and I directly made an account back in February 2009 I believe (fun fact: Crossfire was my very first, first-person shooter).
OT: Crossfire is also the perfect game for me considering I'm colorblind, but here the teams are Obvious different colors, for example games like call of duty I just shoot my own team if I'm not playing nuketown lol.

Answer: I found out about CrossFire watching my Husband (boyfriend at the time) play on his days off. I instantly fell in love with ghost mode and became a bigger addict than him xD

Answer: Some real life friends in my class at school played it and asked me to try it as well. The majority of them have stopped playing it and the main inviter unfortunately got randomly banned
