This is the best idea i saw in the entire thread, +111111111111 to increase black market win percentage with 5% for every year spent with crossfire. -
I do support the idea of giving things to veteran players, but there are still a lot of cool people who don't fall into that group.
I remember there was an event giving golden name cards and sprays to people who played in March. It was only golden if you had been playing for 5 or more years. That's a perfectly Balanced example and I'd love to see more of that.
Weapons though? Yeah, no... -

Why not? People don't pay attention to sprays in-game, they pay attention to your guns.
You never see anyone say "Omg nice spray", but you ALWAYS have someone in front of you begging for your shiny gun.
Just give out a unique gun to everyone who's been playing at least 5 years or something.
I don't think it should be a weapon of our choice, though. That'd just make a lot of guns way more common.
Maybe a choice of 3-5 weapons that get made just for the veterans? Something like guns that look old/worn would be pretty cool. -

Nah not rusty... Battle scarred. Scratches in the side of the AWM in tally marks, an M4 with a scuffed barrel etc.
Something that says "Hey I've been using these guns for years".
But rusty shows neglect like you just left it in the rain. Surely if you had a gun that long you'd at least keep the rust off it. -

Then it should also be a fan-favorite gun that's been here since the very start, AK-47, M4A1 or AWM (imo, to add to your suggestion

Personally I think the criteria should be based on "age of account", "total hours played", and "HS ribbon". It would eliminate many accounts that don't deserve it.
I believe there are alot of fair players without the HS ribbon, so that shouldn't count imo. -

I don't know.. HSR is pretty important and shows that you have been a good member of the community by being clean for so long through thick and thin. Rewarding Cheaters of some sort wouldn't be the brightest idea. Now may of cheated years ago and got banned for it but you still cheated at the end of the day and ruined the game for others. -

Honestly, 5 years is not enough to be considered a veteran anymore, I do agree with rewarding veterans just not 5 years +, it's too commom now so I would say minnimum 8 years+, just so the reward is deserving and not everyone can get it.master_mann wrote: »Why not? I think a good way to do this is to connect it with the veteran ribbons (1 year, 5 year and 8 year). Z8 could just add a prize to each one, like 1 million GP for 1 year, a Perm gun for 5 and a limited time Perm gun or a weapon of your choice for 8 years.

I agree with connecting them to the ribbons, but the prizes are probably too good :P

I mean you want the prize to be something actually worth working for. It needs to be a reward, not some sub par prize that no one cares about like the 10k GP for getting 30 ribbons. Also to get the 8 years of playing ribbon you'd have to have been here since Beta/shortly after beta closed. I would also like there to be a requirement to have the honorable soldier ribbon because this reinforces that you are only rewarded for playing legitimately. But....what about the HS legit HappyFace rank guy who plays 1 game every 3-4 months over 8 years? I am just thinking that there needs to be something else that determines "true dedication" to the game. Maybe total number of games? IDK -

I'm thinking hmmm, when I was Canada's come up at 11 years old I actually made YouTube videos on this game in 2010 and my god are they corny but THAT is true loyalism to the game. (Vids are private and on a different channel, nice try bic boi) not just some random account with join date 2009 with HSR and

Actually we still don't have rewards for 60 and 70 ribbons... how about you add this instead ?(this year please...) if you reached that number of ribbons means you are an active veteran that still play the game and earn ribbons.
It's impossible for people that have a in real life to even get the new ribbons nowadays lol -
