Well, when Giveaway threads get closed, it usually tends to be that they failed on paying out the giveaway rewards.
Or maybe DarkArtZ himself requested for it to be closed, lord knows.
Wait MOD's/GM's have the right to close your giveaway thread if the giveaway wasn't not fully completed aka the giveaway wasn't given? That's something I never heard about.
I think if he did request for it to be closed there would of been a final post just to make sure there's no confussion and that's it's done so now this is even more interesting * thinking emoji * -

They do take Giveaways which aren't being paid out rather seriously as no one wants a ton of people to be disappointed when a giveaway turns out to be fraudulent, and did close some of them in the past. So yeah, I'd imagine they are well within their rights to close such things.
But DarkArtZ did pay out all of his Giveaways in a satisfactory timespan until now, so you can only speculate as to what went on behind the scenes. -

On a more serious note, DarkArtZ is apparently having connection issues recently. As such he's unable to run contests/giveaways and rather than have people sad that they registered and didn't get a chance at winning, the thread is temporarily closed until he returns. -
